Updated: Jan 11

Seafair’s licensed manning office in Ukraine has been certified by DNV-GL. The company has received a management system certificate that complies with DNV’s Standard for Certification of Crew Manning Offices, Private Recruitment and Placement Services.

This certification is a testament to Seafair’s commitment to help seafarers find the best opportunities at sea, get paid what they deserve and be treated with respect. The new certification enhances Seafair’s focus on providing fair and transparent services that are compliant with global regulations and standards.

Seafair’s proprietary software enables its local manning agencies to source, vet and process seafarer requests more quickly and transparently, while it ensures top quality of service for its shipping partners. All its processes & software enable humans to make more informed crewing decisions, and ensure that all hiring activities are completed on time and in compliance with global standards.

“We’re excited to partner with one of the best classification societies in the world. DNV sets demanding crewing standards, which are in line with our focus on transparency and meritocracy. As part of our mission to make crewing more tech-enabled, data-driven, we plan to get additional certifications for our upcoming products & services in the near future.”
