Job brief - Customer Success Manager

We are looking for a Customer Success Manager to join our team in Athens. You will work alongside the Head of Sales to help Seafair strengthen & expand its clientele.

About Seafair is a tech startup connecting shipping companies with seafarers, a $50B market annually. Our vision is to become the global leader in the maritime crew market, with a strong technology & data edge. We are funded by FJ Labs, a venture fund that has invested in some of the best marketplace startups in the world, like Airbnb, Uber, Flexport and Rigup.

You have expertise in the maritime crew space and want to disrupt legacy processes. You are willing to push yourself to learn new skills and put them into practice right away.   • Evaluate and analyze customer needs to ensure that we offer world-class quality of service

  • Drive customer retention and increase share of wallet with existing clients

  • Define processes to onboard clients

  • Work closely with product & operations to provide client feedback and improve Seafair's offering

  • Act as a consultant to help clients innovate and improve crew operations

  • Work directly with the Head of Sales to design Seafair's expansion's strategy


  • At least 3 years of experience in a high-intensity environment, part of it in the maritime industry

  • Knowledge of crewing requirements, including certifications/trainings/exams, and all crew-related standards (eg STCW, MLC, ITF)

  • Proven experience in breaking down complex problems into smaller, actionable parts

  • Ability to understand and communicate the values of digital products, data & technology

  • Proven ability to work autonomously and strong willingness to learn quickly

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, Greek is a plus
